4 Simple Tips to Earn Real Money in Affiliate Program Sales and Never Spend a Dime!

To earn real money in affiliate program sales, you must do three things: promote, promote, promote! If you are new, you’ve got to keep your costs way down. Here is a plan for doing just that— promote your affiliate product and never spend a dime in advertising.

1. We begin by writing an article.

Articles are one of the oldest and most trusted ways of spreading the word about your affiliate product on the net. Getting an article published is simple, even if you are not a particularly gifted writer. But— don’t be too brash with your affiliate promotion in your article.

Send your article to the top five or six most highly ranked article directories. Send a re-written version of it to the next ten or twenty most popular directories. The point of the re-write is to avoid any duplicate content penalties from the search engines.

As a guideline, avoid talking about your product directly. Strive to provide good quality information relevant to your affiliate niche. For example, if your niche is “building doll-houses”, then give the reader some tips as to how they can best solve common doll-house building problems.

Top article directories (and you should always deal with the very best) will not allow you to do a blatant affiliate program sales promotion. Learn to be a little bit subtle!

Once you have given, you now have permission to take. You may include your website (top level domains ONLY) in your resource box at the bottom of the article. If you have been able to sell yourself to the reader as an expert of some sort, you stand a good chance of getting the click.

This is a great strategy that can really help you earn real money.

But— keep reading. There’s more!

2. Now, repackage your article as a tutorial. This means a change of wording and a change of format to give your article more of a “how-to” feel. Sites like eHow are great places to publish this sort of educational material. Tutorial sites get good traffic, and you’re ahead of the game because most article writers would never think to do this. Plus— it’s still free.

3. And now… turn your tutorial into a Powerpoint slideshow! You can submit to sites like Slideshare for nothing. Place your URL in the Powerpoint, and take advantage of another powerful source of traffic that is still… yep, FREE!

4. Last, turn your Powerpoint into a video. If you want to spend money, invest in Camtasia, but you can still get good results for nothing with CamStudio.

The easiest option is simply to add voiceover to your Powerpoint, though you could make your video fresh if you feel like it. For voiceover work, your own voice comes free of charge (duh!), but you can outsource this if you want someone with a bit more dramatic flair.

If that is not good enough for you, you could try a monthly paid service called Article Video Robot. They turn articles into video complete with background music and voice over. Never having used them, I will not comment on their work. You could give them a try, and then tell the rest of us.

The results of your efforts? You wrote one article, and then recycled it into three different formats!

There are tons more ways to get free traffic– these are just a few hints. Article directories and social bookmarking– which everyone already knows about– are just the tip of the iceberg.

Any article can be recycled into some non-article form, such as a Pdf. file, .exe file or RSS feed. These can all now be published for free in sites specializing in such formats, and are all available to you as free traffic sources.

One last word: You can earn real money in affiliate program sales if you will commit to publishing your articles in as many formats as you can.
